Questionnaire on Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement Progress Reporting

The International Joint Commission (IJC) seeks public input on the 2025 Progress Report of the Parties (PROP). The PROP is a report published every three years by the Canada Water Agency and US Environmental Agency. The 2025 PROP documents the activities and accomplishments of Canada and the United States in implementing the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement over 2023 to 2025.

This survey is one of several ways you can provide input to the IJC. You can also upload written or audio/video comments or participate in a webinar. All input, including survey responses, will be considered by the IJC to inform the forthcoming 2026 Triennial Assessment of Progress (TAP) Report.

All individual responses are confidential and will be reviewed by IJC personnel. Only summary findings from this survey will be reported in the IJC TAP report and related communications materials. Participation in this survey is completely voluntary. It will take at least 10 minutes to complete. If you begin this survey and wish to pause and continue at a later date, your progress will automatically be saved.

Your perspectives are important to ensure the IJC fulfills its responsibility under the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement to receive and summarize public input on the Canadian and US governments’ PROP reports.
